Maddam Sir has helped me widen my horizon ; Gulki Joshi

She has grabbed eyeballs with her portrayal of SHO Haseena Malik in the television show Maddam Sir,  centered on the theme of policing with a heart.

As SHO Haseena Malik, the head of a Mahila Police Thana who follows the dictum of policing with a heart,  Gulki Joshi has become a household name in the last couple of years.

As Maddam Sir completes two years of its successful run on Sab TV,  Gulki Joshi says that the show has helped her widen her horizon as an actor.

In a chat, Gulki Joshi was recently seen donning the avatar of a street girl Urmila in the show.

'I am extremely proud and happy to be a part of Maddam Sir, a show spreading laughter and happiness through innovative problem-solving methods. Donning new avatars on the show has given me an opportunity to widen my horizon as an artist and experiment with every new role,'Gulki said in a chat.

She said that Maddam Sir has provided her a platform to showcase different sides of her as an actor.

'The show has given us the platform to showcase our different shades as actors.,'she said.

The actress said that her journey with Maddam Sir in the last two years has been fabulous.

'It has been a fabulous journey for me with the show . I have grown along with the show both personally and professionally,'Gulki Joshi said .

She  said that she shares a strong bond with members of the cast and crew of the show.

'I feel lucky to have such a great cast and crew who have been my constant support all through the making of the show.

For Gulki Joshi,  who has earlier worked in shows like Zee TV's Phir Subah Hogi,  Life OK's Nadaan Parindey Ghar Aaja and & TV’S mythological show Paramavatar Shri Krishna,  Maddam Sir is definitely a landmark show in her career,  winning her huge popularity as SHO Haseena Malik.

Gulki made her debut on television with the show Phir Subah Hogi. A show  dealing with the Bediya community of Bundelkhand region in Madhya Pradesh, Phir Subah Hogi saw her play the role of Sugni, who challenges the custom of young girls dancing before the rich men.

  Later she portrayed the role of Meher in Life OK's show Nadaan Parindey Ghar Aaja,  a show set in the backdrop of India Pakistan conflict.

She also portrayed the role of Sawri in Colors TV's Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman and Naina in Zee TV's romantic drama Piyaa Albela. She starred as Devki in &TV's mythological drama Paramavatar Shri Krishna. She played the role of a reporter in MX Player's Bhaukaal.

Her role as SHO Haseena Malik has won her huge popularity across the country.
