SAB launches magnum opus Dharm Yoddha Garud, untold story of  King of Birds, to premiere on Mar 14

After the success of Wagle Ki Duniya, Shubh Laabh,  Ziddi Dil Maane Na and Sab Satrangi, Sab TV is  set to bring for its viewers a larger than life spectacle in Dharm Yoddha Garud, the untold story of King of Birds Garud that premieres on Sab TV on March 14.

Featuring Indian Television’s much loved face Faisal Khan in the lead, Dharm Yoddha Garud reflects on selflessness, honesty, obedience, and bravery which lies at the core of Garud, the devotee and charioteer of Lord Vishnu. 

Dharm Yoddha Garud premieres on Sony SAB on 14th March at 7:00 PM.

 Indian mythology states that Garud’s wings were mighty enough to flip the turn of the universe. Born to slavery and oblivious of his monarchical lineage, Garud showed extreme dedication and unwavering courage that’s etched in Indian mythology.

Dharm Yoddha Garud begins on the premise of Garud’s birth, who despite being born as a bird-human with incredible strength and powers to the great sage Rishi Kashyap and Vinta is compelled to obey the orders of his cunning aunt Kadru and his stepbrothers including Kaaliya and the 1000 snakes.

The story showcases a unique aspect of a mother-son relationship and how it blossoms each passing day as they navigate the challenges thrown at them. Being born into enslavement, Garud seeks to uncover the reason for his mother’s plight.

Defying all odds, he shows exemplary courage to fight and try to free his mother from the shackles of slavery, but each time she stops him. What is the mysterious secret that Vinta wants to shield Garud from? Garud’s complete devotion to his mother Vinta and abiding by his duty in this universe is what makes him Dharm Yoddha Garud!

 Peppered with state-of-the-art tech and VFX, Dharm Yoddha Garud has been mounted using real-time virtual production technique - Ultimatte which has been used for the first time on Indian television!

Dharm Yoddha Garud will air on Sab TV  every Monday to Saturday at  7 pm starting 14th March.
