Television actress Tanisha Mehta,  who has won hearts of audiences as Shreya, says that independent women taking on challenges head on in life are a source of inspiration for her.

On the eve of Women’s Day,  Tanisha Mehta said that Women’s Day is an occasion for making women in our lives feel special.

Expressing her thoughts on Women’s Day,  the actress said, ''Women’s Day holds a lot of significance in my life and it’s an important day not just for me but every woman out there. One should definitely do things to make women feel special because women are constantly looking after everyone in their homes while also balancing their own lives.'

On her plans for celebrating Women’s Day,  Tanisha said, '. I am generally working on Women’s Day but I try to write messages and blog about this special day. '

The actress said that she looks upon her mother and sister as an inspiration as both of them are independent women taking on challenges head on.

'I really look up to my mother and my sister because both of them are strong independent women who take challenges head on which is very inspiring and I wish more women got the opportunity to become independent,'she said.

Tanisha Mehta is currently playing the role of Shreya in the television show Shubh Laabh, being telecast on Sab TV.
