First look poster of Love in Ukraine, a love story based in Ukraine, released

Amid the raging conflict between Russia and Ukraine,  a love story shot in the backdrop of Ukraine is set for release in cinemas next month.

Love in Ukraine,  a story of an Indian Student falling in love with a Russian girl who is set to married in a mafia family,  is scheduled to release in theatres on May 27.

Produced by Kamal Entertainment Pvt Ltd in association Neole Films, Love in Ukraine is billed as a refreshing take on love, romance,  friendship and life .

Makers of the film recently released the first look poster of the film, which has been written and directed by Nitin Kumar Gupta in association with Vishal Sharma.

Love in Ukraine stars Vipin Kaushik with Lizabeta, N.K.G., Mikhael Striga, Lolita Zhuravlova, Roman Batrin, Ruslan Seferov, Oles Dmitrenco, Irma Balan, Konstantin Shiryaev, Vladimir Didenco and Sergey Pschenichniy. S.

The story of the film is about an Indian Student who falls in love with a Russian girl who has been promised to be married to a Mafia family.

Little do they know that their innocent one-night stand will escalate into an epic chase of violence, mayhem and retribution.

Shot in the breathtaking locales in Ukraine,  Love in Ukraine will depict life and  culture in Ukraine's cities and villages immediately before the war..

Most of the cast and crew, including its lead actress Lizabeta, are still in war zone Ukraine. Lizabeta is in Dnipro, where Russian bombs destroyed the airport

The makers of Love in Ukraine are planning a free release in Ukraine as a sign of love and solidarity from Indian filmmakers to the people of Ukraine.

The film, which will be released by Vivek Films Production house, will hit theatres on May 17.
