After entertaining in cinemas and on OTT, the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Jhund, the story of a retired sports coach starting his own soccer team comprising slum children in order to keep these children away from drugs and crime, will have its World television premiere on Sony Max on June 26.

With the first leg of UEFA Nations League ending and sporting action coming to a halt, football fanatics have been scrambling for ways to enjoy their favourite sport.
The World Television premiere of Jhund in a way fills the gap left by the lack of live sports with a sports-based movie starring one of the megastars of Bollywood.
Jhund will have its World Television premiere on Sony MAX on 26th June 8 PM, ensuring an immersive experience filled with emotions, inspiration, and entertainment!
This Nagraj Manjule directorial features Amitabh Bachchan as a retired sports coach who with an aim to keep slum-dwelling children away from drugs and crime, starts his own soccer team.
Not only does this beautiful sports drama delve into the lives of these underprivileged children but also brings forth the harsh reality of systematic oppression.
Will he eventually be able to channelize their hidden talents in the right direction or will the other side of the world be unwelcoming towards them?
Directed by Nagraj Manjule and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, Jhund is a biopic on life of Vijay Barse, the founder of the NGO Slum Soccer.
The film released in cinemas on March 4 and was released on Zee5 in May.
Jhund stars Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role with Rinku Rajguru and Ankush Kedam jn key roles.
