There is so much to explore in the character of Zorawar: Mohit Abrol

The focus of attention in Alibaba Dastaan-E Kabul may be on Sheezan Khan as Alibaba but another actor who has grabbed eyeballs in the adventure mystery is Mohit Abrol who plays the antagonist Zorawar in the show.

As Zorawar,  a resident of the Shahi Sadak who looks down upon Ali and his friends and other commoners living in the Mahmooli Sadak area, Mohit Abrol has caught the attention of viewers with his convincing portrayal of a person with a classist and  condescending attitude.

Apart from taking immense pride for residing in the elite 'Shahi Sadak', Zorawar looks down upon Ali  and his friends who live in the 'Mahmooli Sadak' area as commoners of Kabul.

Complementing his quintessentially privileged lifestyle with his costume and dialogues, Zorawar brings an interesting angle to the show. His role goes beyond the bounds of simple adventures and typical villains, as the aggression he brings to light is a lot more subtle and pertinent to understanding the world Alibaba and his companions inhabit.




Mohit Abrol,  who plays the antagonist in Alibaba Daastan-e-Kabul, says that there is so much to explore in the character 


Mohit Abrol,  who is seen on the screen after an year long break, says that Zorawar is a layered character which gives a lot of scope for exploration.

''After taking a yearlong break, it feels incredible to be acting again especially as Zorawar who is such a layered character. There's so much to explore in the character of Zorawar. I have always enjoyed playing roles that have an important message to impart, so I'm glad to be a part of 'Alibaba Dastaan-e-Kabul'.

Even the fur he wears as part of his costume is so reflective of his status. He belittles the commoners, prides on his lineage, and I'm grateful for our fans' support and the way they recognise the nuanced antagonistic role of Zorawar,'Mohit said.

Alibaba Dastaan-E Kabul, being telecast on Sony SAB, has been captivating viewers through a riveting narrative and  taking them on a journey brimming with adventures.

The show has gained immense audience appreciation for its differentiated storyline and portrayal of interesting characters.

Alibaba Dastaan-e-Kabul is telecast on Sony SAB from Monday to Friday at 8 pm.
