Sonakshi Sinha makes her OTT debut with crime thriller Dahaad on Amazon Prime Video May 12

Joining the list of Bollywood actors hopping on the OTT bandwagon,  actress Sonakshi Sinha is set to make her digital debut with the crime web series Dahaad next month.

Created by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar and written and directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, Dahaad will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on May 12.

Dahaad also stars Gulshan Devaiah,  Sohum Shah, Vijay Verma,  Manyuu Doshi and Sabghamitra Hitaishi  in  pivotal roles.

Dahaad, which will feature Sonakshi Sinha in the role of a police officer,  is the first web series to premiere at the Berlin Film festival where it will compete for the Berlinale series award.

The shooting for the series was held in Rajasthan.

Sonakshi Sinha is the latest Bollywood actor to jump aboard the OTT bandwagon,  after actors like Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia,  Ajay Devgn, Shahid Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan.

The latest in the line of crime thrillers being streamed on OTT,  Dahaad deals a sub inspector Anjali Bhaati carrying out an investigation into mysterious deaths of women in public toilets. As Anjali Bhaati embarks on the investigation into the killings, a cat and mouse game ensues between her and the mystery killer.
