Excel entertainment unveil first look of Sharmaji Namkeen,final film of Rishi Kapoor,on his birth anniversary

On the birth anniversary of iconic actor and Bollywood's favourite lover boy Rishi Kapoor, Excel entertainment of Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani today unveiled the first look of his final film Sharmaji Namkeen.
Sharing the first look poster of the film, which features Rishi Kapoor, Excel entertainment said,'we are proud to present the poster of a very special film- Sharmaji Namkeen, starring one of the most celebrated actors in the Hindi film industry whose inimitable work and sparkling career we will cherish forever, Mr. Rishi Kapoor.
As a mark of love, respect and remembrance of him and as a gift to his millions of fans, here is the first look of his final film.'
On the occasion, Excel entertainment thanked veteran actor Paresh Rawal for helping to complete the film by agreeing to portray the character played by Rishi Kapoor.
'A big thank you to Mr. Paresh Rawal, who completed the film by agreeing to take the sensitive step of portraying the same character played by Rishi Ji,'Excel entertainment said.
Produced by Excel Entertainment and MacGuffin Pictures and directed by debutant Hitesh Bhatia, this film is a light hearted, coming-of-age story of a lovable 60 year old man..
Sharmaji Namkeen also features Juhi Chawla, Sohail Nayyar, Gufi Paintal, Sheeba Chaddha and Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles.

The film, which features Rishi Kapoor in the lead, had only a few days of shooting left when the actor died of cancer in May last year.
After the death of Rishi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal completed the film by agreeing to portray the same character played by the late actor.
Sharmaji Namkeen was completed using VFX technology and special effects.
