Ahead of the release of the action thriller Sooryavanshi in theatres on Diwali,  Akshay Kumar,  Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh today called on cinema lovers to enjoy the magic of the movies on the big screen.

In a video released ahead of the release of the film,Akshay, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh said that after a 'brief interval' caused by the Covid-19 pandemic,  it was time to enjoy the magic of the movies on the big screen.

'The huge screen of the cinema halls has been a testimony to various emotions expressed by the audiences - your  laughter, your cries  and your feeling of anger.
.  Who would have imagined that like in films, our life would also witness an interval.

But now, we are back. Enough of this emptiness and this silence. It's time to once again fill this cinema auditorium with the claps of the audiences . We welcome you back to cinema halls to enjoy the magic of movies on the big screen,'the actors said.

The entertainment industry has rejoiced over the news of theatres opening across the country with the reopening of theatres in Maharashtra from October 22.

Sooryavanshi to release in cinemas on November 5

The much-anticipated action entertainer, Sooryavanshi is all set to release in the theatres on  November 5.

With the release of Sooryavanshi to be followed by several mega starrers and blockbusters, the film industry as well as exhibitors are hoping that it will be back to cinema halls for the audiences.

Directed by Rohit Shetty,  Sooryavanshi has witnessed several postponements over the lastvyear and a half due to Covid.

The film, had earlier been scheduled for a theatrical release on April 30 but the makers postponed it due to the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

An unprecedented surge in covid cases in the country in April had  resulted in makers of mega starrers Haathi Mere Saathi, Bunty Aur Babli2, Chehre, Sooryavanshi , Satyamev Jayate 2 and Toofan postponing release of these films till a later date.

The release of Sooryavanshi will be followed by release of several mega starrers like Bunty Aur Babli2,  83, Shamshera, Bachchan Pandey,  Heropanti 2, Ek Villain Returns, Laal Singh Chaddha,  Prithviraj,  KGF 2 and RRR.
