Thrilled to be part of the iconic cinematic universe of Sooraj Barjatya; Parineeti Chopra

Even as shooting gets underway for Sooraj Barjatya's next directorial venture Uunchai, Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra says that she is thrilled to be a part of the cinematic venture.

Shooting for Uunchai,  featuring an ensemble cast comprising Amitabh Bachchan,  Anupam Kher,  Parineeti Chopra, Neena Gupta,  Danny Denzongpa and Boman Irani, commenced in Kathmandu in Nepal last week.

Expressing her excitement on being a part of the project,  Parineeti,  who is working for the first time in a Sooraj Barjatya film, said, 'Thrilled and honoured to be a part of the iconic cinematic universe of Sooraj Barjatya sir .
Sooraj sir has defined, and is the torchbearer of India’s family entertainers and I can’t wait to work under his tutelage; alongside this stellar and incredible cast.'

Parineeti Chopra said that she is excited to share screen with megastar Amitabh Bachchan,  Anupam Kher and Boman Irani.

Shooting for Uunchai,  which will see Sooraj Barjatya wield the megaphone six years after Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, began last week in Kathmandu in Nepal.

A family drama, Uunchai will star Parineeti Chopra in the lead role with Amitabh Bachchan with Anupam Kher,Neena Gupta, Boman Irani, Sarika and Danny Denzongpa playing pivotal roles.

It will, be Parineeti Chopra', Boman Irani and Amitabh Bachchan's  first association with Rajshri Films.

It is the fourth film of Anupam kher with Sooraj Barjatya,  after Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Vivaah and Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo.

A friendship based family drama Uunchai will be shot extensively in Nepal.

Sooraj Barjatya's last directorial venture was the Salman Khan Sonam Kapoor and Anupam kher starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, released in cinemas in 2015..
