Sooraj Barjatya begins shoot for his next directorial Uunchai,starring Amitabh,Parineeti, Anupam kher

Six years after Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, Sooraj Barjatya today began shooting for his next directorial venture Uunchai featuring megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Actress Parineeti Chopra,  veteran actors Anupam kher, Neena Gupta and Boman Irani.

Sharing a picture of the muhurat clap of the film by Sooraj Barjatya,  Rajshri Films said, 'Sooraj Barjatya ji begins shooting for his next directorial venture Uunchai. '

It will be megastar Amitabh Bachchan 's first association with Sooraj Barjatya. 

Anupam kher also shared the news with his fans.

In an Instagram post, Anupam kher said that he looks forward to shooting with Sooraj Barjatya after a long time.

This is Anupam Kher's fourth film with Sooraj Barjatya, after Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Vivah and Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo.

A family drama, Uunchai will star Parineeti Chopra in the lead role with Amitabh Bachchan with Anupam Kher,Neena Gupta, Boman Irani and Sarika playing pivotal roles.

Boman Irani said that working in a Rajshri venture has been his long cherished dreams.

'The kindest of the kind brings together a dream team,to fulfil one of my long cherished dreams. Thank you Sooraj Barjatya for Uunchai a film that promises to be a most memorable journey,'he said,

It will, be Parineeti Chopra's first association with Rajshri Films.

A friendship based family drama Uunchai will be shot extensively in Nepal.

Sooraj Barjatya's last directorial venture was the Salman Khan Sonam Kapoor and Anupam kher starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, released in cinemas in 2015.
