&TV’s Ek Mahanayak Dr B. R. Ambedkar, the inspirational show on the life of the founder of the Indian Constitution Dr B R Ambedkar being aired on &TV,  will this week witness an intense and high voltage drama wherein Prachand Dev ji ( Govind Khatri), a self-appointed guardian of the upper caste, creates havoc in the life of Bhimrao.

Last week's episodes of the real life Saga saw how young Bhimrao takes a stand against Child Labour and manages to convince a few kids to take up studying. However, he faces huge opposition as well, mostly from parents as well as from Prachand Dev ji (played by Govind Khatri), a self-appointed guardian of the upper caste who believes himself next to God. 

 When Prachand Dev ji realizes young Bhimrao’s substantial influence over upper caste children to pursue education for a better future, he takes it upon himself to wreak havoc in his life and resorts to extreme cruelty.

Prachand Dev ji summons his men and orders them to destroy Bhimrao’s chawl. They brutally beat the chawl members, snatches away their food grains and even throttle his wife Ramabai (Narayani Mahesh Varne) to ensure Bhimrao surrenders to his cruelty, compelling Bhimrao and Ramabai to vacate the chawl.

Taking advantage of the situation, Narrotam Joshi finds an ally in Prachand Dev ji to seek revenge against Bhimrao.

Upcoming episodes will show the lengths to which  Prachand Dev ji goes to accomplish his vindictive pursuits against young Bhimrao.

Govind Khatri,  who assays the role of prachand Dev in the show,  says that the upcoming episodes of the show will bring an emotional yet inspirational storyline for viewers.

“Prachand Dev ji’s entry will bring a lot of troubles and challenges in young Bhimrao’s life. Somehow Bhimrao and his paths clash, leading to huge ideological differences, with him plotting to cause huge havoc in Bhimrao’s life. Now, he has found a partner in Narrotam to fight against Bhimrao and his ideologies and resort to extreme humiliation and cruelty.

However, the extreme steps adopted by Prachand Dev ji will only strengthen Bhimrao to face these compelling situations boldly, bringing to fore his evolved vision, indomitable perseverance, and determination. The mayhem that Prachand Dev ji creates in Bhimrao’s life makes for an extremely emotional yet inspirational storyline for the viewers,'Govind Khatri said.

Being telecast on &TV from Monday to Friday at 8 30 pm, Ek Mahanayak Dr B R Ambedkar takes viewers through the journey of B Ambedkar from his humble roots becoming the architect of the Indian Constitution.
