After the super successful season 1 of Pavitra Rishta OTT platform ALTBalaji is back with season 2.

The love story that ruled the hearts of the Indian audiences is all set to re-create the magic on  digital screens with the 'Pavitra Rishta Season 2… It's never too late!', that streams  on Alt Balaji from March 25

Produced by Balaji Telefilms, Pavitra Rishta aired on Zee TV more than a decade ago. with 1424 episodes.

It has gone on to be the most iconic daily soap in the history of Indian television.

In the last season, Archana and Manav split over the untimely death of Sachin.

Alt Balaji earlier this week released the trailer of Pavitra Ris2.

Set against the backdrop of the iconic title track of the show, the trailer begins with Manav and Archana having a conversation with each other filled with the same affection and love. The story starts 6 months later with both studying in the same college as strangers. We also see Asheema Vardhan playing Manav's wife  whereas Vivek Dahiya playing Archana’s love interest in the trailer.

It demonstrates how fate can bring two lovers together. Will the future bring Archana and Manav together again? Will their love rekindle like they always wished for? Will their love shine through amid adversity, or will it fade away?

Ankita Lokhande , who assayed the iconic role of Archana in Pavitra Rishta, said that it was challenging for her to retain the essence of an iconic show like Pavitra Rishta which has received immense love from the audiences.


"Pavitra Rishta is a show that keeps me alive. Season 1 was a huge success, and the love I received from the audience was gratifying . After all these years, it's challenging to retain the essence of an iconic show that has received immense love from the viewers worldwide. Ekta Ma'am is a content czarina, and no matter what, I have always enjoyed working with her. I can play Archana for years and still feel like I am working on a new project each time,'Ankita said.

Produced by Bhairavi Raichura's 24 Frames Production and directed by Nandita Mehra, the series, written by Nikita Dhond, Gautam Hegde, and Ritu Bhatia, will feature. Shaheer Sheikh, Ankita Lokhande, Pooja Bhamrrah, Asheema Vardaan, Vivek Dahiya, Anant V Joshi and Usha Nadkarni in  prominent roles.
