KGF2  releases in cinemas on April 14 to unprecedented buzz, set to take a bumper opening

An unprecedented buzz awaits the release of KGF chapter 2, which releases in theatres across the country and worldwide,  setting the stage for a bumper opening for the film.

With heightened expectations accompanying it's release, KGF2, which releases on over 10000 cinema screens worldwide,  including the Hindi version as well as the South Indian versions,  is set to take a historic opening at the box office , continuing the process of bringing audiences back to the theatres,  after Sooryavanshi,  The Kashmir Files and RRR.

As per initial estimates,  the film is screening to near full houses at single screens in most of the country while multiplexes across the country witnessed occupancy of 75 to 80 per cent.

Trade experts said that the level of craze for the film equals, and in some cases even surpasses,  that seen during the release of Baahubali 2. Infact opening day figure of Rs 50 cr for the Hindi version of the KGF2 is well within the realm of possibility.

The film has witnessed huge levels of advance bookings preceding its release.

A sequel to the 2018 film KGF Chapter 1, KGF2 , which will  have will have theatrical release in Kannada along with the dubbed versions of  Telugu,  Hindi,  Tamil  and  Malayalam languages, is releasing on a huge scale,  scheduled to be screened on over 10000 cinemas worldwide.

While starring South Indian superstar Yash in the lead role,  KGF2 stars   Sanjay Dutt,  Srinidhi Shetty and Raveena Tandon in key  roles.

While featuring Yash in the  main lead, the film also features Sanjay Dutt as antagonist. The film will alwo feature Raveena Tandon in an important role. 

Sanjay Dutt assays the antagonist Adheera, while Yash plays Rocky Bhai. Raveena Tandon will be seen as Prime Minister Ramika Sen.

The KGF chapter 2 will continue where KGF chapter 1 ended. The makers have increased the budget of KGF chapter 2 to match the expectations of the audeince. 

The film, directed by Prashant Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, was initially scheduled for theatrical release in January this year. However,  the release of the film had to be postponed due to the third wave of COVID-19.
