Maddam Sir deals with issues of bullying of children and its long term impact on their future

The popular show Maddam Sir on Sab TV,  which has been underlining pivotal issues through its story of staffers of a woman police station indulging in policing with a heart,  will in the upcoming episodes,  deal with the pertinent issue of bullying and its long term impact on children.

In the upcoming track, Maddam Sir reflects yet again on the critical effects of bullying and how it can leave a long-term impact. Today the conversation about bullying and the impact of it on a child’s mind is talked about extensively, yet the practice continues.

Maddam Sir deals with issues of bullying of children and its long term impact on their future 

SHO Haseena Malik gets a new case where Amrita, a teenager, gets hold of sleeping pills with the intention to end her life owing to the massive performance pressure due to exams. When Haseena meets Amrita’s family, she gets triggered by the presence of Amrita’s brother who has bullied her in the past.

While dealing with the case, the show takes us into Haseena Malik’s past.

Haseena, who is a confident boss lady now, was a vulnerable young girl, bullied by her peers for not doing well in studies. The narrative of bullying and its far-reaching effects on young minds cannot be estimated and, in some cases, it pushes people to take drastic steps.

Even as an accomplished police officer, Haseena felt weak when she came face to face with her past. Karishma confronted her and urged her to get involved citing that the former owes it to her younger self. Hence, our boss lady takes a courageous step, and she takes up the case, helping Amrita realize her self-worth and also overcome her own trauma.

It will be interesting to see whether SHO Haseena Malik is able to get past her own trauma. The upcoming episodes will reveal whether she is able to convince Amrita to get over her trauma and realize her self worth.

Gulki Joshi, who assays the role of SHO Haseena Malik,  says that the upcoming episodes will help to raise awareness on the crucial issue of bullying of children and its long term impact on their future.

 “I’m glad that Maddam Sir talks about issues that bother children and hinder their overall growth. Bullying in any situation should be stopped immediately because everyone’s tolerance level is different, and you never know what kind of impact it might leave. We have a good ratio of young viewers and topics like bullying, performance pressure is every child’s agony.

It's time we teach our kids that there is more to life than exams and grades and instead encourage them to appreciate their pace. Instead of diminishing their confidence, we should uplift them and encourage them to do better next time. Active steps should be taken against bullies. A piece of paper can't decide anyone’s worth and we, at Maddam Sir, want to do our best to spread awareness on this issue. We want both parents and kids to benefit from this and be mindful of their actions going ahead,'Gulki Joshi said.

Since its launch, Sony SAB’s Maddam Sir has managed to underline pivotal issues, by weaving them seamlessly into storylines and conveying the messages subtly.

Maddam Sir is being telecast on Sab TV from Monday to Saturday at 10:30 PM .
