Jug Jugg Jeeyo earns Rs 51 cr in its opening week

Riding on its emotional drama, the comeback of Neetu Kapoor after a long gap and the presence of Anil Kapoor,  the romantic comedy Jug Jugg Jeeyo has earned Rs 51 cr in its opening week.

Continuing its above average run after collections of Rs 35 cr in its opening weekend,  Jug Jugg Jeeyo maintained steady run on the week days.

The film has earned Rs 51 cr in its opening week.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo has performed well in Delhi and NCR,  Punjab and the metropolitan city of Mumbai.

Directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar,  Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta,  Jug Jugg Jeeyo stars Anil Kapoor,  Neetu Kapoor,  Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles alongside Prajakta Koli and Manish Paul.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo is the story of businessman Bheem and his wife Geeta who live in Chandigarh with their daughter Gurpreet aka Gunny.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo marks the return of Neetu Kapoor to films after a long gap since her 2013 film Besharam.

The film has evoked praise from critics and the audiences for its emotional drama and performances by Neetu Kapoor,  Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan.
