Webseries on ordeal faced by parents of victims of Uphaar fire tragedy streams on Netflix January 13

25 years ago,  life of several families in Delhi witnessed an upheaval after the gruesome fire tragedy that struck the Uphaar cinema in South Delhi claimed lives of their kin.

Among the families whose life changed for the worse following the tragedy were Neelam and Shekhar Krishnamoorthy, who lost their two kids in the fire tragedy.

A new webseries on Netflix takes viewers through the ordeal faced by the families of the Uphaar fire tragedy victims.

Trial By Fire, the new series that narrates the heartbreaking yet resilient story of parents Neelam and Shekhar Krishnamoorthy, who lost their two kids in the fire tragedy,  will premiere on Netflix on January 13.

Trial By Fire takes viewers through the journey of Neelam and Shekhar Krishnamoorthy as they fought to secure justice for their two kids who died due to the negligence and callousness of the owners of the Uphaar cinema hall.

Produced by Endemol Shine and the House of Talkies and directed by Prashant Nair and Randeep Jha, Trial By Fire stars Rajshri Deshpande and Abhay Deol in the role of Neelam and Shekhar Krishnamoorthy , who lost their two kids in the fire tragedy.

Trial By Fire also stars Ashish Vidyarthi,  Anupam kher,  Ratna Pathak Shah, Shilpa Shukla, Rajesh Tailang and Shardul Bharadwaj in pivotal roles.

Netflix today released the trailer of the webseries.

The trailer provides the viewers a glimpse into the resilient story of Neelam and Shekhar Krishnamoorthy as they fought to secure justice for their two kids who died in the fire tragedy.
