Six musical prodigies from across India to battle for Indian Idol 12 title at marathon grand finale on I Day

It will be a tough battle between six music prodigies from four corners of India for the title of Indian Idol, at the grand finale of the music reality show tomorrow. 

A marathon grand finale of Indian Idol 12 , to be telecast on Sony Entertainment Network tomorrow,  will see Pawan Deep from Uttaranchal, Arunita Kanjilal from Kolkata, Nihal Tauro from Mangalore,  Shanmukhpriya from Vishakhapatnam, Mohd Danish from Uttar Pradesh and Sayali Kamble from Mumbai battle for the title of Indian Idol 12.

For the first time in the history of Indian television, the finale of Indian Idol 12  will run for 12 hours, from 12 pm on August 15 to 12 am on August 16.

The presence of several celebrity guests during the finale episode promises to impart a grand feel to the finale of the reality show . 

Those associated with the channel said that 0 the finale episode is expected to be graced by Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani and rest of  the star cast of the film Shershah,  which is streaming on Disney Hotstar from August 12.

Further, since the episode is being aired on Independence Day, Army personnel have also been invited to be a part of the final episode.

Various promos on Sony Entertainment Television have termed  the finale of Indian Idol 12  as the Greatest Grand Finale ever.

The Six contestants - Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Nihal Tauro, Mohd Danish, Shanmukhapriya and Sayli Kamble - who are in the race to win Indian Idol 12 trophy, have made a  mark for themselves on several music reality shows and musical events. 

 Pawandeep,  who  hails from Uttarakhand, has brought out various albums and has been a part of various stage performances.  He has shared the stage with singers like Shaan and Shibani Kashyap.

  Arunita Kanjilal,  who hails from Kolkata,  has performed live at several events and has given stage performances with singer Shaan while Nihal Tauro, hailing from Moodbidri in Mangalore, has   performed in many musical stage shows not only in India but also in the countries like Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait. Nihal sung various music cover albums as well as the title tracks of various TV serials such as Kutumba, GiniRama and Yaarivalu.

Mohd Danish, who hails from the Kirana Gharana in Uttar Pradesh.  has been a part of  playback singer, Neeti Mohan’s team and launched his first original soundtrack ‘We Indian’  in 2017 .

Shanmukhapriya , who hails from Visakhapatnam, has won a lot of praise from judges of Indian Idol for her unique singing style. Shanmukha  Priya made her debut from Zee Telugu Little Champs in 2008 and later took part in many other singing reality shows like Super Singer Junior on Tamil TV, Padutha Theeyaga Season 6, Telugu, The Voice India Kids in 2016 and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs in 2017. She also gave her voice to a song featured in the Telugu film “Tejam ''.

  Sayli Kamble, who hails from Mumbai, is a trained singe and  has earlier participated in many music reality shows such as Amul Voice of India – Mummy Ke Superstars and Gaurav Maharashtracha. Sayli has performed in many musical concerts in Mumbai and various cities of Maharashtra.
