Yash Raj Films announce release of biggies Bunty Aur Babli2, Prithviraj, Shamshera & Jayeshbhai Jordaar

Following the decision of the Maharashtra government to reopen theatres in the state from October 22, Yash Raj Films today announced the release dates of its big budget ventures Bunty Aur Babli2, Prithviraj, Shamshera and Jayeshbhai Jordaar.
While Bunty Aur Babli2 releases on November 19, Prithviraj will release in cinemas on January 21, 2022 and Jayeshbhai Jordaar will release on February 25, 2022.
Yash Raj Films' Shamshera will release in cinemas on March 18, 2022.

Bunty Aur Babli 2, believed to be a sequel to the Yash Raj hit Bunty Aur Babli, stars Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi and talented debutant Sharvari in the lead roles.
The much-awaited, hilarious out and out family entertainer has been directed by Varun V Sharma.
YRF’s big budget period drama Prithviraj, which releases worldwide on Jan 21, 2022, stars superstar Akshay Kumar in and as king Prithviraj Chauhan. Gorgeous Manushi Chhillar debuts as Sanyogita opposite Akshay While Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood feature in pivotal roles.
The film has been directed by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi.
YRF’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar, which is among the most anticipated films, stars Ranveer Singh and Shalini Pandey in lead roles.
A family entertainer set in Gujarat, Jayeshbhai Jordaar will feature Ranveer in the role of a Gujarati man who becomes an unlikely hero. Jayeshbhai Jordaar has been directed by Divyang Thakkar.
YRF’s Shamshera, an adrenaline pumping entertainer, stars superstar Ranbir Kapoor in the lead opposite Vaani Kapoor. Sanjay Dutt plays the merciless nemesis.
The announcement by the Yash Raj Films comes following the decision of the Maharashtra government to reopen theatres in the state from October 22.
Following the decision by the Maharashtra government, makers of Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi announced its release on Diwali.
Following the announcement of the release of Sooryavanshi and YRF ventures, other filmmakers are expected to announce release of their films in theatres soon.
Cinema halls in Maharashtra had been shut down in April due to second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, leading to postponement of several films like Chehre, Sooryavanshi and Bunty Aur Babli2 .
