Baby Maurya in Sab Satrangi is a modern grandma and way ahead of her time; Joyshree Arora

Actress Joyoshree Arora, who has established a niche for herself as an actress of substance with memorable shows like Buniyaad, Fauji, Doosra Keval and Diya Aur Baati Hum as well as in films like Mujrim, Datta and Chak De India , is set to assay the role of a 'cool' and modern grandma in Sab TV's upcoming show Sab Satrangi, which showcases the life and adventures of the Maurya family.

The Veteran artist will be seen in a pivotal role as the Dadi who runs her family in the most unconventional and quirky ways that are sure to be loved by the viewers.
The head of the Maurya family, she is a bold and bindass individual, an award-winning life insurance agent, who is determined to not let her age affect her ambition. She will definitely take the audience for a fun ride with her quirks!
In a chat ahead of the telecast of the show on Sab TV, Joyoshree Arora gave insights into her character and spilled the beans about what would make this Dadi a trendsetter on Indian television.
Talking about her character, Joyoshree Arora said, “my character on the show has had a challenging life. However, I can very proudly tell that Baby Maurya is the Boss Dadi and is here to break every stereotype that’s attached to her age. She is a woman of substance and celebrates every moment. She is optimistic and firmly believes - what you sow is what you reap. She is a modern grandma and way ahead of her time. Baby Maurya is truly bindass. Her character adds great value to the show as she is equally fun and admirable to everyone. And who wouldn't want to have a Dadi like our Baby Maurya?”
The actress said that her character of Baby Maurya shares a unique bond with each member of the Maurya family in Sab Satrangi.
“I share a unique bond with each member of my Satrangi family. To begin with is Manu (Mohit Kumar). He is extremely loving and doting towards his grandmother, I feel for any dadi to have a grandchild like Manu would be wonderful,'she said.
Joyoshree Arora says that the character of Baby Maurya shares a lot of similarities with herself.
“I see quite a bit of myself in Baby Maurya. I love her positivity and share her zeal for life. A very bold and high-spirited lady, my character is not your typical dadi. What makes her so interesting is that she shares a rich back story, and despite all her struggles, she has emerged victorious. I am really excited to step into the shoes of Baby Maurya and see where this journey takes me as an artist,'the actress said.
To be telecast soon on Sab TV, Sab Satrangi tells the story of a family signifying uniqueness and diversity like the colors of a rainbow.
With a fine blend of a fresh storyline and unique characters, Sab Satrangi will take the viewers to the picturesque city of Lucknow, to the Maurya household, an unconventional family who share their joys, sorrows, dreams, and despite the differences, hold on to each other and stay united.
