It is through dance that I got my first break as actor; Akanksha Sharma

She has caught the attention of viewers with her portrayal of Sakina Mirza in the comedy show Aur Bhai Kya Chal Raha Hai.

She may be a known face in the world of television today but not many know that Akanksha started her journey as a choreographer.


Actress Akanksha Sharma says that it is dance that got her the first break as an actor 



In a chat on the occasion of International Dance Day,  Akanksha Sharma revealed that she has choreographed several acts for reality shows.

, "I started my journey as a choreographer and have also choreographed several beautiful acts for reality shows. I have learned under Remo D'souza Sir and Dharmesh Sir. It is because of dance that I got my first break as an actor, and the rest is history,'Akanksha said.

Talking about her love for dance,  Akanksha Sharma said, 'for me, dance is a creative expression, like acting, which helps me share emotions without using any words. Dancing started as a hobby, but it soon became one of the ways of my life to express myself. People who love dancing must continue practising and performing to share the joy.” 

Akanksha Sharma has been winning plaudits for her portrayal of Sakina Mirza in the comedy show Aur Bhai Kya Chal Raha Hai, which deals with the comic situations arising out of rivalry between the Mirza and Mishra family.
