I was jealous of my dad's heroines; Ekta Kapoor

She may be a queen of television with actresses vying to be a part of a television show produced by her company Balaji Telefilms but as a child,  Ekta Kapoor was jealous of her dad Jitendra's heroines.

Ekta Kapoor,  who appeared on the Kapil Sharma show on Sony entertainment television along with her father and legendary actor Jitendra,  revealed that as a child she was jealous of her dad's heroines.

Infact, Ekta who often accompanied Jitendra to the shooting of his films in various locations outside Mumbai,  was known to attack her father's heroines on the sets of a film.

'As a child,  I was jealous of my dad's heroines.  Infact,  I was not allowed near the sets of my father's films as would often attack his heroines, 'Ekta Kapoor revealed on the Kapil Sharma show.

Jitendra,  who was a big star in the late 70s and 80s, often took along his children Ekta Kapoor and Tushar Kapoor on his various shoots in locations outside Mumbai.

During his nearly three decades long career,  Jitendra worked in nearly 200 films as a lead actor. He is among the most prolific actors in the Mumbai Film industry,.

He worked with several leading ladies during his career,  including Neetu Singh, Reena Roy, Sulakshana Pandit, Rekha, Maushami Chatterjee, Sridevi and Jayaprada.

Jitendra's daughter Ekta Kapoor is the founder of Balaji Telefilms which has produced several  shows for various television shows and has been trendsetter in the world of television.
