RRR (Hindi) continues its good show on week days, earns Rs 91 cr in four days

Zafter an excellent business in the opening weekend,  the multilingual action thriller RRR continued its good showing on the week days well, with earnings of Rs 17 cr on Monday.

The collections of the film on Monday have taken its earnings in four days to Rs 91 cr.


RRR (Hindi) earns Rs 91 cr in its first four days 





Given the enthusiastic response to the film at the theaters,  RRR  (Hindi ) is likely to touch a figure of Rs 150 cr in its opening weekend and could touch the 
 Rs 200 cr mark at the box office in India.

The collections of Rs 17 cr for RRR (Hindi ) on Monday are the highest for a film on its first Monday post the Covid pandemic.

The film has performed well in Gujarat, Central India and Bihar.

RRR(Hindi) , which had collections of Rs 19 cr on its opening day , witnessed a sharp increase in its earnings on Saturday and Sunday , taking its earnings in the opening weekend to Rs 74 cr.


Trade experts say that the film has done excellent business in mass circuits like Mumbai, Rajasthan and  Gujarat .  Infact, the film has performed  better than  Sooryavanshi in many circuits, including Delhi and the National Capital region.

Directed by SS Rajamouli (of Baahubali fame), RRR is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Junior NTR ), who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively.

Made in Telugu, Hindi andother South Indian languages, RRR   produced by D. V. V. Danayya of DVV Entertainments., stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris.

The film,  which was postponed several times due to production delays and due to the Covid-19 pandemic,  has created tremendous buzz due to it being helmed by S S Rajamouli, the presence of Junior NTR,  Ram Charan and Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn and due to its grand production values.

RRR opened to positive reviews .

The collections of all versions of the film on its opening day are Rs 240 cr worldwide,  breaking the record for highest opening day collection  by an Indian film.
