Comedy film Aankh Micholi releases in theatres today

After witnessing several postponements due to Covid, the Comedy film Aankh Micholi,  the story of a family looking to marry their daughter to an NRI suitor,  releases in cinemas on May 13.

Directed by Umesh Shukla, who had earlier directed films like OMG, 102 not out and Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge, Aankh Micholi is about a family of misfits which is trying to hide some secrets from an NRI suitor and his family as they want their daughter to get married to the NRI boy.

Produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Merry Go Round Studios, Aankh Micholi stars Paresh Rawal,  Abhimanyu Dassani,  Mrunal Thakur, Divya Dutta and Sharman Joshi in key roles.

Aankh Micholi will witness the pairing of Mrunal Thakur and Abhimanyu Dassani for the first time.

Abhimanyu Dassani was last seen in the romantic drama Meenakshi Sundareshwar.  Mrunal Thakur was recently seen in the sports drama Jersey opposite Shahid Kapoor.

Aankh Micholi is among the big ticket entertainers of the year.

The film has witnessed several postponements due to Covid.
