Hindi version of Radhe Shyam releases on Netflix on May 4

Nearly seven weeks after its release in theatres,  the Hindi version of the multilingual period love story Radhe Shyam will release on Netflix on May 4.

Radhe Shyam (hindi) , which stars South Indian superstar Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in lead roles,  will premiere on Netflix on May 4.

The original Telugu version of the film  released on Amazon Prime Video last month.

A Hindi Telugu bilingual film, Radhe Shyam is a period romantic drama set in Europe in the 1970s.

Written and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, Radhe Shyam stars South Indian superstar Prabhas and actress Pooja Hegde in lead roles.

The film features the love story  between Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in different time zones.

Produced by UV creations and T series under the banner of Gopi Krishna Movies, Radhe Shyam has been shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi.

The music for the Telugu version has been composed by Justin Prabhakaran while that of the Hindi version is composed by Mithoon, Amaal Malik and Manan Bhardwaj.

The film met with a lukewarm response when it released in theatres on March 11.

Despite the presence of a big star like Prabhas,  Radhe Shyam's collections were hit due to huge crowds thronging to the theatres for Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files.


Besides Prabhas and Pooja Hegde,  Radhe Shyam also stars Bhagyashree,  Krishna Raju, Sathyaraj, Sachin Khedkar and Murali Sharma.

The film is being  screened in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

Shot extensively in Italy, Georgia and Hyderabad, Radhe Shyam is mounted on a mega canvas, boasts of state-of-the-art visual effects.

The film sees Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in never-seen-before avatars.

A unique feature of the  film is that it has megastar Amitabh Bachchan will narrate the love story of Pooja Hegde and Prabhas in the film.
