Prithviraj trailer gives a spectacular feel,  a grand historical on the cards

After the larger than life feel of multilingual action thrillers RRR and KGF2 rocked the box office,  Yash Raj Films is set to present to cinegoers a grand historical in its upcoming period film Prithviraj,  which is set to release in cinemas on June 3.

Yash Raj Films today unveiled the trailer of the historical film, based on life of the  warrior king Prithviraj Chauhan of the Chauhan dynasty who waged a fierce clash against the Islamic Conquest of India by Mohammed Ghori, a ruler from the Ghurid dynasty.

The trailer gives a spectacular feel,  bringing out the valour of Prithviraj Chauhan,  who strongly repulsed the attempts by Mohammed Ghori to carry out the Islamic Conquest of India.

The adrenaline pumping sequences of battle between Prithviraj Chauhan and Mohammed Ghori gives the viewers a spectacular feel,  promising a grand historical.

The trailer also brings to viewers the legendary love story of Prithviraj Chauhan and Samyogita.

Manushi Chhillar makes a promising debut in Prithviraj as Samyogita.

Produced by Yash Raj Films and Aditya Chopra,  Prithviraj stars Akshay Kumar in the title role of Prithviraj Chauhan..

Manushi Chhillar makes her Bollywood bebut with the film.

Prithviraj, which releases in Hindi,  Tamil and Telugu, also stars Sanjay Dutt,  Sonu Sood,  Ashutosh Rana,  Sakshi Tanwar,  Manav Vij and Lalit Tiwari in pivotal roles.

Prithviraj was earlier scheduled for release in cinemas November 13, 2020 but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  Later, the film was scheduled for release on January 21, 2022 but had to be postponed due to the spread of the Omicron variant of COVID-19.
