The Navratri festival  across the country brings for people across India lot of fun and celebrations.

For television actress Chinmayee Salvi, the onset of Navratri festival brings to the fore several joyous memories of Participating in Garba events in Mumbai.

In a chat ahead of Navratri festival,  Chinmayee Salvi, who is currently grabbing eyeballs as Sakhi Wagle in slice of life show Wagle Ki Duniya on Sony SAB,  said that for her Participating in Garba events during Navratri festival is a lot of fun.

Going down memory lane,  Chinmayee Salvi,  who is also an accomplished dancer, recalled that attending Garba events during Navratri festival is a fond memory associated with the festival.

“I'm a dancer, so every Navaratri, our dance classes would put on a show. Apart from that, my friends and I would attend Garba events in places like Dombivali. We planned our dresses around the color of the day and also our dance steps, it was a lot of fun!,'Chinmayee said.

The actress said that she fondly recalls visiting places where people play authentic Garba.

'My uncle lives in Mulund's Gujarati community, so I am often invited to play there too. As a dancer, I adore all dance forms and enjoy visiting places where people play authentic Garba. I'm also really excited to try Gujarati delicacies now that I've made many Gujarati friends since joining Wagle ki Duniya,'she said.

The Navratri festival is being celebrated across the country from September 26.
