Taapsee Pannu & Tahir Raj Bhasin's Loop Lapeta to have World Television Premiere on Sony MAX July 8

After impressing audiences on OTT,  the crime and action thriller Loop Lapeta is set to have its World television premiere on Sony Max on July 8.

The Tapsee Pannu Tahir Raj Bhasin starrer will have its World television premiere on Sony Max on July 8 at 9 pm.

In this fast-paced world where everyone is on the lookout for something new, no one likes repetition and moving in circles! But what if you are stuck in an inescapable time loop with three chances to fight for the life of someone you love? Well, it is scary but it's equally exhilarating!

Loop Lapeta, an  Aakash Bhatia directorial, revolves around Savi (Taapsee Pannu), a former athlete whose life totally changes when she learns that she is pregnant and that Satyajeet (Tahir Raj Bhasin), her boyfriend, is in mortal peril due to his shady involvement with the mafia.

Despite everything, love is love! Hence, she decides to help him out but is unsuccessful and believes her efforts have gone right down the drain. However, that is not it because fate has other plans! The clock is turned back to the moment when she found herself pregnant, leaving her in a time loop. Will she be able to figure out how to successfully save her beau?

Directed by Akash Bhatia,  Loop Lapeta stars Tapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin in the lead roles.  It also features Shreya Dhanwanthary in a pivotal role.

Actress Shreya Dhanwanthary said that she is excited for the World Television premiere of Loop Lapeta.

“Looop Lapeta is a film that has a fascinating theme along with multiple layers that make it all the more intriguing to watch. In fact, the character offered to me ‘Julia’ was so unique in itself that I was instantly drawn towards it and could not resist taking up the opportunity.

Sharing his experience of working on the film, actor Tahir Raj Bhasin said, “Loop Lapeta has been a very special film. I had an absolutely crazy time shooting for it with Taapsee and director Aakash Bhatia in Goa. Looop Lapeta is a film with a quirky premise, a concept that has not been explored before in Hindi cinema. A lot of people applauded our effort when it released on OTT, and I am hoping, with the world television premiere on Sony MAX, more people will get to witness our wacky endeavor.”

The official Hindi adaptation of an award-winning German cult thriller ‘Run Lola Run’, Loop Lapeta is it  one of the most trippy and twisty tales with an endless loop of entertainment and edgy performances.


The name of the film ‘Loop Lapeta'’ is inspired by the word ‘Lola’ from ‘Run Lola Run’. (‘Lo’ being a part of Loop and ‘La’ being a part of ‘Lapeta’)

The love story of Savi (Taapsee Pannu) and Satya (Tahir Raj Bhasin) has a backdrop of the mythological tale of Savitri & Satyavan. It is similar but with an exciting modern twist to it!

Every Taapsee film comes with a promise of being different yet equally gripping and this movie has all the ingredients to draw you into a trippy world of its own.
