Acting is a spiritual experience for me: Shah Rukh Khan

As he gets ready for his next film Jawaan,  after the super success of his last film Pathaan,  superstar Shahrukh Khan says that it is his attempt to bring cheer to his fans through his films.

In an interaction with his fans ahead of the release of Jawaan,  on September 7, Shahrukh Khan is thankful for the tremendous love bestowed on him by cinelovers.

'It is my endeavour to  bring  cheer to my fans for a few hours in an year through  my  films, Thank you all for giving me more than enough love,'Shahrukh said amid tremendous buzz for his upcoming film Jawaan.

Written and directed by well known filmmaker Arun Kumar, popularly known as Atlee, Jawaan is an action thriller starring Shahrukh Khan in a dual role with Vijay Sethupathi,  Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani featuring in pivotal roles.

Jawaan is scheduled to release worldwide on September 7 in Hindi along with dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu.

After the super success of Pathaan,  there is tremendous buzz for Jawaan,  which is also being produced by Yashraj Films

Talking about his upcoming film,  Shahrukh Khan said that shooting for Jawaan has been an exciting experience.

'For me, Jawaan is a new kind of genre. Shooting water, Vijay and others has been hectic while at the same time being a lot of fun.

It has been a really intense experience. Infact, Atlee and his team have been the best thing about Jawaan,  '''the King Khan said.

Talking about his experience of working with South Indian stars like Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara,  Shahrukh Khan said, 'Nayanthara is lovely.  She is too sweet and awesome to work with.  It has been a pleasure working with her.
Vijay is such a humble person and a brilliant actor.  Learnt a lot from him.''

On the delay in the release of Jawaan,  the superstar said ,''everyone was working without  a break on the film and pushing themselves.  So it is a relief that all can do their work with more ease now.

I feel that it takes time and patience to make something worthy for the audience. ''

For Shahrukh,  acting is a spiritual experience.

''Acting for me is a spiritual experience.  Before enacting the role I try to be respectful for the person who I am trying to create,'he said.

Expressing happiness on the success of Pathaan, the superstar said, I feel that dream merchant's should create cinema that feels like worth the audience’s time and money. ''

Asked as to what helps him retain his humility despite being the heartthrob of millions,  Shahrukh Khan said, ''I feel that what makes a person humble is that if he can talk to the crowds and still keep his virtue. Or walk with kings and still not lose the common touch. Humility and love is forever. All other things are transitory
'
Shahrukh Khan's last film Pathaan was the biggest grosser of the year with earnings of over Rs 1000 cr worldwide.
