Pankhuri Awasthy Rode enters as Artificial Intelligence Officer in Sony SAB’s Maddam Sir

Sony SAB’s Maddam Sir, that’s been winning over the hearts of audiences for depicting the story of four dynamic lady police officers, is all set for a dramatic twist in its casting.
Popular television actor Pankhuri Awasthy Rode joins the show as an AI (artificial intelligence) officer to assist SHO Haseen (Gulki Joshi) and the team to solve high profile cases.

Upcoming episodes will witness the Mahila Police Thana being attacked by a group of gangsters. On hearing this, the head department states that the Mahila Police Thana is not safe to be on its own and recommend a change to be brought in.
SHO Haseena Mallik (Gulki Joshi) and Sub-inspector Karishma Singh (Yukti Kapoor) from the Mahila Police Thana are called for a meeting with the Chief Inspector to discuss various high-profile cases while the Chief Inspector also introduces the new AI officer who will be assisting them on these new cases.
To everyone’s surprise, the newly appointed intelligence officer is here to keep an eye on the cases 24x7 and to keep everyone charged up. With SHO Haseena Malik and Sub Inspector Karishma Singh having 90 days to teach the new AI officer and bring out humane emotions in her assignments, they are set to take on the new challenge.
The upcoming episodes will show whether SHO Haseena Mallik and Sub-inspector Karishma Singh will be able to work alongside the new AI officer. Will they be able to carry forward their philosophy of policing with heart or will it be taken over by policing with technology?

Pankhuri Awasthy Rode, who reprises the role of an Artificial intelligence officer in Maddam Sir, says she is excited to take up the role of an Artificial Intelligence Officer.
“I am highly excited to take up this role as it is unique and stands out from what I have done so far. As an actor, I always try to experiment with diverse roles and with Maddam Sir, I’ve got the opportunity to portray something that’s less explored on television.
While this new opportunity intrigues me, I am nervous as well since this is something I haven’t attempted before. As part of my character as an AI officer, I will do stunts on the show, which is an experience I am looking forward to. As I take on this new challenge, I hope the viewers will continue to enjoy my performances and shower their love on me,'she said.
Gulki Joshi, who assays the role of Haseena Malik in Maddam Sir, says that shooting for the upcoming episodes has been a challenge for her.
“At this point, Haseena is stuck with her emotions. While she is trying to prove her point that the Mahila Police Thana is a safe place, she also welcomes the new AI officer on-board and takes on the challenge to teach her the qualities of being humane while solving cases.
Shooting for this new phase has been a challenge but at the same time, this has been a lot of fun. We have pulled off some amazing scenes together which will surely appeal to the audience. I’m eager for the viewers to watch the upcoming episodes, they are in for a roller-coaster ride,'she said.
Produced by Jay Mehta under the banner Jay Production, Maddam Sir revolves around Five police officers who work at a Mahila Police Station in Lucknow - Constable Santosh Sharma, Constable Cheetah Chaturvedi, Head Constable Pushpa Singh, SI Karishma Singh and SHO Haseena Mallik. They are helped by a reporter, Sunny Chaddha and their prisoner Billu Champat.
Maddam Sir stars Gulki Joshi, Yukti Kapoor, Sonali Naik, Bhavika Sharma, Priyanshu Singh, Ajay Jadhav and Rahil Azam in prominent roles.
