Spider-Man No Way Home crosses Rs 50 cr in two days

Continuing with its strong run at the box office in India, Spider-Man No Way Home earned Rs 20 cr on its second day, crossing the Rs 50 cr mark in two days.
Spider-Man No Way Home, which had earned Rs 33 cr on its opening day on Thursday, saw a drop in its collections on its second day on Friday.
Released on nearly 3200 cinema screens across India on Thursday, in English as well as the dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, Spider-Man No Way Home collected Rs 20 cr on Friday.
With this, the film has earned Rs 53 cr in its first two days.

The best collections of the film on its second day came from Delhi NCR and Punjab. There was a sharp drop in collections of Spider-Man No Way Home in South India due to the release of the Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa, which is doing excellent business in South India and has thus made a dent into the collections of Spider-Man No Way Home.
Spider-Man No Way Home had witnessed a stupendous opening on Friday with maximum collections reported from Delhi NCR, Punjab, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
The film had earned Rs 33 cr on Thursday, the highest opening day earnings of a fil post the Pandemic.
With collections of Rs 20 crore on its second day, Spider-Man No Way Home has earned Rs 53 cr in its first two days in India.
The film has done excellent business in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh , Punjab , Hyderabad and Bangalore, far surpassing the opening day figures of Sooryavanshi.
With unprecedented ticket sales and huge rush for advance booking reported by Multiplex chains across India, Spider-Man No Way Home is expected to witness a jump in its collections on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Trade experts predict a jump in the collections of the film on Saturday and Sunday. Infact, Spider-Man No Way Home is expected to earn nearly Rs 100 cr in its opening weekend in India.
Multiplex chains across the country have reported a huge rush in advance booking for Spider-Man No Way Home.
While the PVR group of cinemas reported a safe of record 1,00,000 tickets within 24 hours of opening of advance booking at the various PVR multiplexes across India, the INOX group reported sale of 1,50,000 tickets within 24 hours of opening of advance booking.
Infact, 90 per cent of shows for the film on the weekend are almost booked in Mumbai while Delhi has reported booking of 90 per cent of the tickets for the film on the weekend. Cities like Hyderabad and Chennai have also reported sale of over 90 per cent of tickets for the weekend.
The opening taken by Spider-Man No Way Home has caused cheer in the film trade, which has been witnessing films released post Sooryavanshi like Bunty Aur Babli2, Satyameva Jayate, Antim The Final Truth, Tadap and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui record below average collections.
Trade experts are optimistic that the euphoric response from cinelovers will continue with films scheduled for release in the coming weeks, including 83, Jersey, RRR , Radhe Shyam, Prithviraj ,Attack , Badhai Do , Gangubhai Kathiawadi ,Jayeshbhai Jordaar ,Bachchan Pandey , Shamshera and Bhool Bhulaiya 2 .
