'I am thrilled that the character of Meet is being liked by the audience. I have been receiving excellent feedback from audiences about my performance in the show which is extremely satisfying for me ,'Ashi said in a chat.
Incidentally, Meet recently completed 100 episodes on Zee TV.
The audiences have loved Ashi in the role of Meet and have been raving about her chemistry with the male lead Shagun Pandey.
Ashi said that playing the role of Meet was extremely challenging for her, especially getting into the look of the Haryanvi girl and mastering the dialect .
'Getting into the look of Meet Hooda was extremely challenging and required lot of effort. The character also required me to have short hair and speak in a Haryanvi dialect. It took me time to get comfortable with my look in a short hair. Also I had to work hard to master the haryanvi dialect.
Frankly speaking, when it took up the show, I had apprehensions about whether I would be able to pull off the character , which is totally different from the suave and urban Girl that I have played in Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai and the role of a glamorous princess in Alladin Naam To Suna Hoga earlier shows. In this sense, the response from the viewers is heartening, 'she said.

'As an actor I am always looking to play characters and do shows which require me to do something different than what I have done before and different from the kind of stuff that is being made on television. So when this show was offered to me I was extremely thrilled to take it up,'she said.
