He has caught the attention of viewers as the rebellious college boy Ranveer Oberoi who takes a fascination for college newcomer Suhani and takes her under his wings in the new television series Sirf Tum, being aired on Colors TV.
For Vivian D'Sena , who makes a comeback to the small screen after a gap of over two years since Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, the portrayal of Ranveer has grabbed him lot of eyeballs.
Audiences as well as critics have also raved about Vivian D'Sena 's sparkling chemistry with Eisha Singh, who assays the girl next door Suhani.
On making a comeback to television after a long gap, Vivian D'Sena said that after Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, he did not want to do similar kinds of roles.
'My effort as an actor is always to do something challenging and different from what I have done before. After Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, I did not want to repeat myself by doing characters that I have done before.
Rather, I wanted to do something that is challenging and requires me to put a lot of effort,'he said.

In the television show, Vivian D'Sena is playing a college student studying in a medical college.
'I have never played a college boy that too from a medical backdrop. So playing Ranveer in Sirf Tum was quite challenging,'he said.
Playing a college boy was a lot of hard work for Vivian D'Sena, who had to vigorously hit the gym to achieve the transformation required to play a college student.
Further, assaying a student from a medical college entailed lot of research.
'I had to undergo lot of transformation to look like a college boy. I had to do lot of dieting to come across as a 24 year old college student.
Also, it required hard work to learn the various medical terms used in the show. I studied a lot of books on the human anatomy.,'he said.
An unconventional love story between two completely different people, Sirf Tum began airing on Colors TV from November 16.
Produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms, Sirf Tum, which features Vivian D'Sena and Eisha Singh in the lead, is the story of Ranveer and Suhani, two individuals as different as fire and water. Destiny brings these two people together. A secret keeps the two people together. However, only time will tell whether secret will keep them united or lead to their destruction.
Besides Vivian D'Sena and Eisha Singh, Sirf Tum also stars Sanjay Batra, Puneett Chouksey and Sonyaa Ayodhya.
