Khuda Haafiz2 to release on July 8, certified A by CBFC

After an encouraging response to Khuda Haafiz,  released on Disney Hotstar in 2020, it's sequel Khuda Haafiz Chapter II Agni Pareeksha is all set to hit the cinema screens on July 8.

There is a lot of buzz among cinegoers about the film ahead of its release in cinemas.

Trade sources said that the film, which stars Vidyut Jamwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi in lead roles,  has been  certified 'A' by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

Ahead of its release,  it's lead actors Vidyut Jamwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi said they are excited for the release of the film and eagerly await the audience response to it.

Addressing media persons during a promotional visit to Delhi, the film's male lead Vidyut Jamwal said that Khuda Haafiz Chapter II Agni Pareeksha continues from  where Khuda Haafiz left off.

'The story of Sameer and Nargis did not end in Khuda Haafiz.  So, we came out with the Chapter II of the film, 'he said.

Terming it as the story of how ordinary  men rise up to the occasion in extraordinary  circumstances,  Vidyut Jamwal said, 'Khuda Haafiz Chapter II is about the extent to which a common man  can go to save his child. '

He expressed the hope that the audiences will give the same response  to  the film as they gave to Khuda Haafiz.

Shivaleeka Oberoi,  who reprises the role of Nargis in the sequel,  said that playing the character of Nargis has been quite emotionally and physically challenging for her.

Speaking to reporters during a promotional visit to Delhi,  Shivaleeka Oberoi said, 'playing the character of Nargis in Khuda Haafiz 2 has been very emotionally  and physically challenging. '

Talking about her character in the film,  Shivaleeka Oberoi said that her character in Khuda Haafiz Chapter II is extremely relatable.

'The character of Nargis is extremely relatable. I am sure every woman will identify with her character, 'the actress said.

Shivaleeka said that she is extremely excited over the release of the chapter 2 of Khuda Haafiz.

'I am very happy and excited that Khuda Haafiz Chapter II is finally releasing in theatres.  I am looking forward to the audience  response to the film, 'she said.

Produced by Kumar Mangat Paathak, Abhishek Pathak, Surya Bimal Parekh and Ram Mirchandani and written and directed by Faruk Kabir , Khuda haafiz Chapter 2 Agni Pareeksha is a sequel to the 2020 film Khuda Haafiz,  which was released directed on Disney Hotstar due to Covid.

 Khuda haafiz Chapter 2 Agni Pareeksha is expected to be another adrenaline pumping fare like the original

Vidyut Jamwal was last seen in the action thriller Sanak  released on Disney Hotstar last year.
