Mishkat Varma to portray lazy genius ‘Adiraj Pradhan’ in Sony Entertainment Television’s Kavya – Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon’

Actor Mishkat Varma will join the cast of Kavya-Ek Jazba Ek Junoon, a highly anticipated show on Sony Entertainment Television which revolves around the life of an aspirational IAS officer Kavya.

The addition of Mishkat Varma, who plays the role of Adiraj Pradhan, to the show promises to make the story more compelling.

A ‘lazy genius’, Adhiraj achieves excellence with ease, possessing a natural talent with an enviable intellect. He is a cheerleader for women’s success and independence. In the show, Adiraj will be seen  encouraging Kavya, pushing her to go over and beyond to achieve the goal that she sets for herself.

Talking about his character,  Mishkat Varma said,''I am so excited to bring alive the character of Adiraj. He’s quite unlike the typical heroes you see on Indian television. He is a very real character, a bit of a rebel, a proponent of equality and a man with a sense of humor. He doesn’t take life too seriously, and that is something that I want to take away from this role – his ability to appreciate every moment as it comes.”

 Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming fiction offering, ‘Kavya – Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon, will see actor Sumbul Touqeer portray the role of an aspirational IAS Officer, ‘Kavya’. Revolving around the life of a strong female character, this narrative will highlight Kavya’s journey whose purpose is to serve the nation while also emphasizing on the value of family.
