My role of Narad Muni will present an interesting take on the mythological character ; Praneet Bhat

After getting acclaim for his historical characters of Shakuni in the iconic show Mahabharat, Dandak in Peshwa Bajirao and Darius in Porus, Praneet Bhat will now play  legendary character of Narad Muni in the mythological show Baal Shiv,  which is scheduled to be aired on &TV  from November 23.

Ahead of premiere of Baal Shiv on &TV,  Praneet Bhat said that the show will present a new and interesting take on the mythological figure,

'My role of  Narad Muni  will have a new and interesting take on the mythological figure. He believes in supporting sanyaas over the grihast lifestyle and tries to influence the people at Kailash,'Praneet Bhat said.

Praneet,  who has completed nearly two decades in the television industry, acing many mythological characters during his career, said that he is excited about the show as the story of the Baal Roop of Lord Shiva has never been told before.

"I am delighted to be a part of  Baal Shiv. We all have heard and seen several stories on Lord Shiva and his various avatars, but the story of his Baal Roop has never been told before on television. Similarly, the story of his bond with Mahasati Anusuya is untold, which makes this show unique and refreshingly distinct,'he said.

Hailing from Jammu, Praneet Bhat began his career on television with shows like Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi, Hotel Kingston, Kituu Sabb Jaantii Hai, Ssshhhh Phir Koi Hai and Kaajjal.

He came into limelight with the character of Shakuni in Mahabharat, which earned him worldwide fame.  Subsequently,  he played the role of Dandak in Peshwa Bajirao and Darius III in the historical show Porus.

For the first time on Indian television,  &TV  show Baal Shiv will present an untold story of Lord Shiva's Baal roop .

Aptly positioned Mahadev Ki Undekhi Gatha, the show, produced by Zee Studios, will depict the mythical Katha of the mother and son, Mahasati Anusuya and Baal Shiv and their eternal bond.

Considered Infinite and the Unborn, Lord Shiva had taken many avatars, but he had never experienced childhood and mother's love. However, post his marriage with Devi Parvati, Mahadev takes the form of a child to fulfil Devi Parvati's wish and becomes the dutiful son of Mahasati Anusuya. 

Produced by Zee Studios, Baal Shiv features a stellar cast including Aan Tiwari ( as Baal Shiv), Mouli Ganguly (as Mahasati Anusuya), Siddharth Arora (as Mahadev), Shivya Pathania ( as Devi Parvati), Krrip Kapur Suri (as Asur Andhak), Praneet Bhatt (as Narad Muni), Danish Akhtar Saifi (as Nandi), Dakssh Ajit Singh (as Indra), Anjita Poonia (as Indrani), Ravi Khanvilkar (as Archarya Dandpani), Pallavi Pradhan (as Maina Devi), amongst others.
