Sirf Tum, an unconventional love story between two opposites, premieres on Colors TV tomorrow |
Sirf Tum is the story of Ranveer and Suhani, two individuals as different as fire and water. Destinh brings these two people together. A secret keeps the two people together. However, it remains to be seen whether secret will keep them united or lead to their destruction.
Ahead of the launch of Sirf Tum, it's female lead Eisha Singh , who was last seen in Zee TV's Ishq Subhaan Allah in the role of Zara Siddiqui, said that it is the premise of the show, which is about the coming together of fire and water, which drew her to it.
'I loved the theme of the show that says it is the story about love between fire and water. As an audience I am curious to know what will happen when these two contrasting individuals fall in love,'she said.
Eisha Singh had earlier made her television debut with the Colors TV show Ishq Ka Rang Safed in 2015. Thereafter, she was part of Zee TV show Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani.
In 2018, she played a Muslim woman Zara Siddiqui in Zee TV's Ishq Subhan Allah.
Expressing her excitement about her new show, Eisha Singh said that the show is unlike any show that she has done before.
'What was really interesting about Suhani is that it is unlike what I am in real life. As an actor, it was interesting for me to explore different layers of Suhani. Also, the story of the show is unlike anything that I have done before, 'she said.
Sirf Tum marks the comeback of Vivian D'Sena to television after a long gap.
Vivian D'Sena was last seen in the television show Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.
The actor said that playing the character of a college student in a medical college was challenging.
'Playing a college student that too from a medical college was challenging. For me, playing a 24 year old college student involved a lot of hard work, including going on dieting. Also, I have never done a show in the backdrop of a medical college.
To prepare for the role, I studied a lot of books on human anatomy, 'Vivian D'Sena said.
Vivian D'Sena said that Sirf Tum is more than just a love story.
'It is not just an conventional television romance. It is much more than an ordinary love story. There is a realistic approach about the romance between Ranveer and Suhani','he said.
On doing a television show after a long gap, Vivian D'Sena said that as an actor, his effort is always to do something different from what he has done before.
'My effort is always to do something challenging and different from what I have done before. I didn't want to repeat myself by doing characters that I have done before.
I wanted to do something that is challenging and requires me to put a lot of effort,'he said.
Besides Vivian D'Sena and Eisha Singh, Sirf Tum also stars Sanjay Batra, Puneett Chouksey and Sonyaa Ayodhya.
