Inside Edge S 3 streams on Amazon Prime from December 3

After entertaining viewers with the intriguing powerplay in cricketing circles in its first two seasons,  the web series Inside Edge returns with its third season,  which will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video from December 3.

Unveiling a new poster of Inside Edge S 3, Excel Entertainment and Amazon Prime Video said, 'they just levelled up the power dynamics and we want to know it ALL  #InsideEdgeOnPrime, new season, Dec 3rd .'

The first two seasons of Inside Edge , a pioneering  series on the digital screen and the first original by Amazon Prime Video,  dealt with the malaise of dpot fixing and doping in cricket. 

The makers of the series said that the third season will take viewers further into the dark underbelly of cricket. 

Created by Karan Anshuman and directed by Kanishk Varma,  Inside Edge is an intriguing web series that takes viewers through the intriguing powerplay in the cricketing circles .

In the third season,  the stage is bigger,  the stakes are higher and the game is more personal than ever.

The new season will take viewers through the dark underbelly of cricket and unleash the ultimate game of power and greed.

Speaking about the new season of Inside Edge,  Head of India Originals at Amazon Prime Video,  Aparna Purohit said that the third season will see an intensification of the plot and keep viewers on edge of their seats.

'The International Emmy nominated series  Inside Edge was the first Amazon Original that received lot of appreciation and set a high bar for storytelling.  The First one is always special.  Our association with Excel Entertainment has helped in bringing forth some compelling narratives spanning multiple genres,'she said.

'This season promises treat for viewers as the plot intensifies which will keep them on the edge of their seats. The new season of Inside Edge will be full of twists and turns and has lot more drama in store. The riveting story  will impress fans and audiences in India and abroad ,'she said.

Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment said that the overwhelming response from viewers has led them to bring a third season.

Inside Edge,  whose first season  premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2017, centers on the Mumbai Mavericks, a fictional T20 cricket team, whose owners operate a league-wide spot-fixing syndicate.

It features an ensemble cast, comprising  Vivek Oberoi, Richa Chadha, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Tanuj Virwani, Angad Bedi, Sayani Gupta, Aamir Bashir, and Sapna Pabbi, as well as Manu Rishi, Amit Sial, Karan Oberoi, and Asha Saini.

The first season reciieved a lot of critical reception.  It was nominated as the Best Drama series at the 46th international Emmy Awards.  The second season of Inside Edge premiered in December 2019.

The series has received acclaim for its performance and storyline.
