After Nobel Peace,  actor Mayur Mehta to join the cast of web series Talli Jodi

Even as he garners acclaim for his latest film Nobel Peace,  being streamed on Jio Cinema,  actor Mayur Mehta is set to join the cast of an upcoming web show on Primeflix titled Talli Jodi.

Mayur Mehta stars in Talli Jodi opposite actress Aishwarya Raj Bhakuni.

Talli Jodi will see Mayur Mehta play a Punjabi character for the first time.

Confirming the news, Mayur Mehta said, 'Yes you heard right . Primeflix is all set to come up with a Romance comedy web series. This is the first Time I’m playing a Punjabi Character opposite the very beautiful and talented actor Aishwarya Raj Bhakuni. Thank you to my director Rrahul Mevawala for considering me for this role”.

Revealing details about his character, Mayur Mehta said, 'this character is very loud and angry but  very emotional too from.  He  loves his Preeto (GF) very much and wants to take her to Canada.'

Being directed by Rrahul Mevawala, Talli Jodi will also feature Prince Rodde, Bhumika Sharma, Nilu Kohli, Mithilesh Chaturvedi, Nimai Bali, Raunaq Bhinder and Pippa Hughes.
 
Mayur Mehta is currently grabbing eyeballs for his recent film Nobel Peace,   that recently bagged the Best Film (Jury) award at 10th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival 2020 and best screenplay at the eighth Indian Cine Film Festival 2020 .

Nobel Peace  revolves around how the youth in Kashmir  get influenced by certain things and choose a wrong path and how teachings of a college professor Shlok Manas(Hiten Tejwani)  play an important role in Asif Alam’s life (played by Mayur Mehta) and direct him to seek the right path. It is an undying quest for truth.

Drected and written by Astik Dalai and produced by O P Rai's Kala Niketan Entertainment, Nobel Peace stars Hiten Tejwani, Mudasir Zafar, Mayur Mehta and Aarti Sharma..

The Film is now streaming on Jio Cinema.
