Cast of Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya plan heart warming surprise for the crew

In keeping with the festive spirit in the country and as a token of gratitude towards  crew of slice of life comedy show Wagle Ki Duniya, the  cast of the show planned a surprise for the team of the show .

As a token of gratitude for crew of the show for their relentless contribution and dedication , the entire cast of Wagle Ki Duniya made a generous contribution and gathered a lump sum amount which they spent towards gifting home essentials and appliances  to the crew members .

The gesture of the cast took the warm and positive spirit of the festive season forward.

Talking about the gesture by the cast members,  Sumeet Raghavan,  who assays the role of Rajesh Wagle in the show,  said that they wanted to do something special for the crew, which is  like their second family, for a while to express their gratefulness and thanks  for everything they’ve done for everyone.

'Diwali is one of the few times of the year when everyone comes together and celebrates while forgetting about work and other stresses. The Diwali party was the perfect occasion for everyone to connect without having to worry about getting the perfect shot and the dialogues right.

Our crew works around the clock and are always on their toes doing everything to make the show what it is. We wanted to do something special for them for a while now and the Diwali party came in at the perfect time so we all decided to give them gifts to express how grateful and thankful we are to them for everything they’ve done for us. The past one and a half year has been very stressful for everyone, our crew is like our second family so doing something special for them this Diwali meant a lot to us. I hope we made them happy,'he said.

Pariva Pranati,  who assays the role of Vandana Wagle in the show,  said that gifting home essentials to the crew was a a way to thank them for their behind-the-scenes work.

 “A huge part and an important aspect of Diwali is celebrating togetherness, giving back to the people we love and showing our gratitude. I feel so grateful that Wagle Ki Duniya is doing so well, everyone is showering so much love on us, it is truly heart-warming.

People often forget about our behind-the-scenes heroes, our wonderful crew members. So, we decided to do something special for them to show how thankful we are for all the hard work they put in and that it doesn’t go unnoticed. Our hope was to bring a smile and change into somebody’s life this Diwali,'he said.

The cast and crew of Wagle Ki Duniya had organized a fun filled Diwali party on the sets ahead of the Diwali festival.

A comedy show based on characters created by noted cartoonist, R. K. Laxman, Wagle Ki Duniya deals with the issues faced by middle-class in India.

It stars Sumeet Raghavan,Pariva Pranati , Anjjan Srivastava , Bharati Achrekar and Chinmayee Salvi in key roles.

 The show has won several plaudits for its relatable storyline and relatable characters played by some of the most loved artists that brings out the endearing bond between families.

The show catering to three different generations of the Wagle family, has struck a chord with the viewers and its refreshing storyline. is loved and appreciated across the country.

The show has been lighting up  up mood of viewers every week with a new set of struggles that the Wagle Parivaar tackles with their individualistic charisma and charm.
