Con thriller Matsya Kaand to stream on Mx player from November 18

Amid several thriller web series being streamed on various OTT platforms, a con thriller Matsya Kaand, a genre that is lesser explored on the digital screen,  is set to stream on Mx player from November 18.

Spread across Delhi, Meerut, Sambhar and Jaipur, Matsya Kaand is the story of an honourable con artist, Matsya Thada (Ravii Dubey) who conducts his kaand with aptitude, intelligence, and charm rather than using his brawn.

As the story proceeds, the use of disguise, technical know-how, and networking advances comes to the fore and highlights how Matsya pulls off cons in a modern world.

This 11 episodic series is all about resourcefulness, planning, presence of mind, and thinking on your feet. 

During a promotional visit to Delhi,  the lead actor of the series Ravii Dubey said playing the protagonist in the show , who pulls off the con job with the use of disguise, technical know-how, and networking, has been a fulfilling experience for him and helped him realise his potential as an actor.

'Preparing for this layered role and juggling between these incredible avatars has been one-of-a-kind journey for me. This role has been fulfilling and has pushed me to test my strengths and versatility. I hope my fans enjoy watching this series as much I enjoyed working on it,'said the actor  who was present in Delhi along with co actors Ravi Kishan and Zoya Afroz  for the launch of Matsya Kaand.

Talking about the web series and his role in it, actor Ravi Kishan said,“I am playing the role of a shrewd cop who has a streak of stubbornness and the drive to always get the job done.  My fans enjoy watching me play eccentric roles and ACP Tejraj, with his dialoguebaazi and dare devil attitude is sure to appeal to the viewers. This show has a little bit of everything for everybody whether its action, comedy or drama and I hope the audience showers the series with their love.”

 Zoya Afroz said that she feels honoured to share screen space with actors Ravii Dubey and Ravi Kishan.

“I'm glad to be a part of a new and exciting show on MX Player. I feel honored sharing screen space with such brilliant talent. It was a fun and an interesting experience to think like a con artist. This series really gave me an opportunity to explore something different and I hope the viewers look forward to our ‘kaands,'she said.

The series, directed by Ajay Bhuyan, also stars the very popular Piyush Mishra, along with Madhur Mittal, Rajesh Sharma and Naved Aslam amongst others in key roles .
