RRR trailer promises a grand action feast for viewers, another visual extravaganza from S S Rajamouli

The Countdown for RRR , one of the biggest action movies of the year,  has begun with the makers of the film unveiling the trailer of the film.

The trailer,  launched at an event at Mumbai this afternoon in the presence of the producer Jayanthilal Gada, director SS Rajamouli and actors Alia Bhatt,  Ajay Devgn and junior NTR, packs a punch, promising a grand action spectacle for viewers.

The trailer promises another visual extravaganza from S S Rajamouli after his last film Baahubali.

It gives the viewers a peek into the international level production values of the film,  which features Ram Charan, Junior N T Rama Rao and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. The film also features Ajay Devgn in a pivotal role.

The trailer has heightened anticipation of the viewers around the film, set for a release in cinemas worldwide on January 7 next year.

Set in the backdrop of the freedom struggle, RRR is a fictional tale of two Indian revolutionaries,  Alluring Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who fought against the British rulers and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively .

The film features Junior NTR as Komaram Bheem, a Gond tribal leader from Telangana who fought against the Nizam of Hyderabad for the liberation of Hyderabad State.

Ram Charan stars as Aalluri Sitarama Raju , an independence activist and a tribal leader from Andhra Pradesh involved in the Indian independence movement, fought against the British Raj.

Alia Bhatt stars as Alluri Sitarama Raju's wife.

RRR is among the most awaited releases of the year.
