Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui earns Rs 3.25 cr on opening day

The disappointing collections of Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui are mainly àttributed to its lack of mass appeal.

Trade experts feel that with its unconventional love story of a bodybuilder and a trans woman ,  Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui failed to draw masses to the theatres.

While the film has evoked praise from critics for its unconventional theme and a story that sends across a message to society,  the subject has failed to generate a mass appeal.

Directed by Abhishek Kapoor,  Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles.
